The core mechanic is simple enough to pick up immediately: you ride a train, spot what's wrong, repeat. That accessibility is genuine, but it also exposes the game's structural problem, when your entire identity is one mechanic, "tedious to search" and "anomalies blur together" aren't minor gripes, they're the foundation cracking. The Chilla's Art atmosphere of creeping, looping dread is present, but it can only carry so much weight when the thing you're actually doing stops feeling rewarding. Two achievements being purely RNG-dependent in a game this short is indefensible: completionists will grind a repetitive loop with no guaranteed exit, which is a poor design choice regardless of how charming the studio's reputation is.
Chilla's Art devotees who want a low-commitment atmospheric horror session and have no interest in 100% completion, the unsettling loop-based tension the studio is known for is here, just thinner than usual.
